Made from 100% superfine and skin soft merino wool, knitted tightly to avoid show-through, this sporty sweater can be used as a «next to skin» sweater or base layer for sport.
The Cortina pattern is based on the first official Olympic sweater, designed for the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo. Capturing the essence of traditional Norwegian history, the pattern has become one of Norway's most beloved designs.

It has extremely high wearing comfort and is itch-free with a soft feel. Very fine spun, this wool is ideal for basic garments to be worn next to the skin.
Naturally, our wool is mulesing-fee. Garments knitted with Pure can be machine washed using wool-cycle. (Fiber diameter: 16.5 micron)
